SWC Extension Activities

Annual Seminar:

The LCSC successfully organized its 6th Annual Seminar at a different venue compared to previous years. The seminar was held at the Dharma Centre in collaboration with LAHDC (Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council) for three days. The event was graced by the presence of the Executive Councillor as the Guest of Honour, along with other distinguished guests. Students and teachers from various colleges and schools also participated in the seminar. The organizers received positive feedback from the attendees, indicating that their efforts were appreciated.

Winter Camp:

The Winter Camp – 2022 was successfully conducted by the 8th SWC (Student Welfare Committee) members, concluding with an ending ceremony. The 9th SWC members are now eagerly looking forward to organizing the 2023 winter workshop. They are determined to carry out their responsibilities diligently to ensure the best experience for the students of the institute.

Sports:

In 2022, SWC organized the Annual Sports Event. This year ,i.e, in 2023, under the guidance of the sports teacher, Ma’am Padma Ley, SWC aims at conducting a successful sports event for the students.

Cultural Events:

In May of this year, SWC, in collaboration with the Culture Committee, organized a three-day culture workshop. The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Digar Nurbu, a renowned traditional dancer and singer from Ladakh. This event provided an opportunity to students to explore and appreciate Ladakh’s rich cultural heritage.

Students’ Magazine (Rigpe Dutsee):

Previous years presented challenges in publishing the students’ magazine, but this year SWC is fully prepared and determined to publish “Rigpe Dutsee.” The magazine will serve as a platform for students to showcase their creative talent while providing valuable contents to the readers.
