  • M.A. in Indian and Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi.
  • Khenpo Degree (Doctorate of Philosophy) in Mahayana Buddhism of Sutra and Tantra.
  • Doctorate of Philosophy  in Buddhist Studies.
  • Studied in both Traditional and Modern tradition.

Teaching Experience :

  • Currently, working as Lecturer of Kargyud Tradition of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation  at Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (Deemed University) Choglamsar, Leh, UT-Ladakh.
  • Worked as Lecturer of Indian Buddhist philosophy at Central Institute of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi, UP, India, from the year 2008-12.

  • Member of the 6th Annual Drukpa Council, conducted in the theme “Living in Harmony”, held at Druk Amitabha Mountain, Kathmandu, Nepal, from 21st Dec,2014 to 01st ,01, 2015.
  • Organised the three days International seminar on “Open Dialogue on Commentaries of the 4th Gyalwang Drukpa Pema Karpo” by Scholars of the various Institutes of the Drukpa lineage, held at Druk Amitabha Mountain, Kathmandu, Nepal, held from 28thto 30th Dec,2014.
  • Organised the three days national seminar on “History of Gelug Tradition and its View, Meditation and Practice” held at Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh, Ladakh, from 21st -24th August, 2019.
  • Organised one day national webinar on “Gandhi and his Ideology” organised by Extra Curricula Committee, CIBS, Leh, Ladakh, on 2th Oct, 2020.

  • Presented a researched paper on “A brief account of the Genesis and Ideology of Sautrantika School of Buddhism” in the three days international Seminar on Ideology and the Genesis of Buddhist Schools, organised by the Department of Indo-Tibetan Studies, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan in collobration with ICCR, Kolkata, India, held at Department of Indo-Tibetan Studies, from 3-5th Feb, 2013.
  • Presented a researched paper on “How to think about environment concerns in Ladakh through a Buddhist perspective” in the two days International Conference on “Buddhism and the Environment in Ladakh” held from 9th -10th May, 2018, Organised by Snow Leapard Conservancy -India Trust in collaboration with CIBS, Leh, Ladakh, at CIBS.

  • Presented a researched paper on “Kalachakra Mandala and its relevance in Modern Society” in the international forum named as exhibition and Round Table in frame of Russia and India: Two Magnets, held on 30th July,2019, organised by The Ladakh Arts and Media Orgnisation (LAMO) at LAMO, Leh, Ladakh.
  • A special talk on “Simple way of Understanding Buddha and his teaching” addressed through virtual mode to all viewers of both national and international, organised by Sampradaya Shastra Department, CIBS, Leh, Ladakh, held on 25th June,2020 and the talk was followed by questions and Answers sessions.

  • Presented a researched paper on “ How to learn Bhoti Language within a short period of Time” in the three days National Seminar on “Contribution of Bhoti Language for the Preservation of Indian Culture”, jointly organised by CIBS,(Deemed to be University) Leh, and Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, India, held from 4th -6th September, 2018.
  • Presented a researched paper on “ Vajrayana System of Buddhism: Concept and practices” in the three days National Seminar on “Buddhist Studies ”, organised by Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, India, held from 17th -19th December, 2018.
  • Presented a researched paper on “ Three Major paths ” in the three days National Seminar on “History of Gelug Tradition: Its view, Meditation and Practices”, jointly organised by Sampradaya Shastra Department and Bauddha Puranic History Department of Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, India, held from 21st -24th, August, 2019.
  • Presented a researched paper on “History of Kargyud lineage of Tibetan Buddhism” in the one day national webinar on “History of the four major Tibetan Buddhist traditions and how those traditions benefit in holding, maintaining and disseminating Buddha Dharma” organised by Sampradaya Shastra Department, held on 11th July, 2020.

 

Conducted workshop and expert talk during Workshop:

  • Conducted a workshop on “Consultative cum Sensitisation Workshop on Child Protection”, and gave an expert talk on “Buddhist view on child protection Issues” on 07/09/2015, organised by CIBS in collaboration with UNICEP and funded solely by UNICEP.
  • Conducted a workshop between the students of CIBS and the professors /Students of Nihon (Japan) University, Tokyo, held at CIBS, on “Importance of Cultural Education in Modern Time” and given an expert talk on the topic to them on12th August,2016.
  • Participated in Orientation cum Workshop on Development of Basic and Bridge Primers and Designing of QABs, organised by Directorate of Adult Education, National Literacy Mission Authority, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, from 24th -26th October, 2016, held at CIET, Chacha Nehru Bhawan, NCERT, Shri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi.

  • Conducted three days workshop on “Wylie Transliteration” for researchers working in a project of Creation of Speech and Language Resources in Tibetan, Balti and Ladakhi for Development of evaluation of automatic speech processing tools” undertaken by DRDO Banglore in collaboration with Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (Deemed to be University) Leh, Ladakh, held at CIBS and initiated from 20th – 22rd August, 2020.
  • Online meditation workshop conducted and led all participants by giving a special talk on “Role of Meditation in Buddhism” and doing meditation course by responding to the questions asked by the participants and viewers worldwide.
