Hostel – Central Institute for Buddhist Studies

The Institute has three hostels named after the famous Buddhist scholars with a capacity of 100 seats each for monks, boys and girls-nuns respectively for the students of remote and far-flung areas of the region. These hostels are run under the supervision of Hostel Wardens appointed by the Institute for a period of three years. The Institute also provides cooks, bearers, utensils and cooking gas cylinders for the hostels.
