- Madhyama Diploma from Dzongsar Institute (for Advanced Studies of Buddhist Philosophy and Research) in year 1998.
- Degree of Shastri from Dzongsar Institute (for Advanced Studies of Buddhist Philosophy and Research) in year 2001.
- Degree of Acharya from Dzongsar Institute (for Advanced Studies of Buddhist Philosophy and Research) in year 2003.
- Enthronement Title as Khanpo (Abbot, Equivalent PhD. ) in year 2004
Academic Experience:
- That in June, 2010 I joined CIBS, Leh as Reader (Associate Professor) in Bhoti Literature and Language
- Taught Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan Literature at the Drikung Kagyu Institute, Dehra Dun from 2002 to 2004 in the capacity of Assistant to Khanpo
- Taught Buddhist Philosophy at the Drikung Nunnery, Samtenling, Dehradun for the session 2005 in the capacity of its Khanpo.
- Taught Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan Literature at the Kagyu College – Centre for Higher Buddhist Studies & Research, Dehradun– from 2004 to 2009 as one of its resident Khanpos.
Other Experience:
- Worked as a member of various committees at CIBS, Leh such as discipline, culture etc.
- Conducted India Tour in 2011 for the students of CIBS, Leh.
- Currently heading the Faculty of Literature and Languages in CIBS
- Supervising Mr Thinley Dorje, Research Scholar, Punjabi University, Chandigarh as a Co-Guide for his PhD thesis.
- Supervising Acharya Tashi Gyalpo, Research Scholar, CIBS, Deemed to be University UT,Ladakh
Seminars/ Talks/ Speeches:
- Attended many public talks and delivered lectures on Buddhist Philosophy in many European Countries (Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary and Germany) in 2009.
- Delivered many talks on Buddhist Philosophy and Culture in Sweden as a Resource Person being invited by the Swedish-Tibetan for Tibetan School and Culture in 2012.
- Attended the National Seminars 2005 to 2009 at the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh- Ladakh.
- Attended a seven day workshop for Teachers’ Training at Songtsen Library, Dehra Dun 2010.
- Presented paper On the Lineage of Kagyud Sect at the Culture Academy, Leh in 2011
- Presented paper in the National Seminar organized by CIBS in the year 2012.
- Presented paper in the Drigung Kargyud International Conference at Dehradun in 2015.
- Delivered over 50 talks on various themes of Buddhism and Tibetan Literature in both radio Kashmir, Leh and Doordarshan , Leh.

- An article on Buddhist Praman was published in Tibetan in Ladakh Prabha-13 published by CIBS, Leh in 2011.
- An article on Panch Mahavidya was published in Tibetan in Ladakh Prabha-14 published by CIBS, Leh in 2011.
- An article on Buddhism in Ladakh:Present Position and Directions was published in Tibetan in Ladakh Prabha-15 published by CIBS, Leh in 2011.
