Three-day workshop on Democracy, Governance and Sustainable Development

Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (Deemed to be University) in collaboration with Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust (SLC-IT) and LAMO organized three-day workshop on Democracy, Governance and Sustainable Development at CIBS, Choglamsar from 21-23 March, 2019. Ashish Kothari, a renowned Indian environmentalist working on development, environment interface, biodiversity policy, and alternatives was invited to give talk for members of Municipal Committee, Councillors, LAHDC, Leh, Sarpanches and students and teachers from CIBS, Govt. Degree College and Govt and private schools from Leh. Director CIBS, Prof. Geshe Konchok Wangdu has delivered the keynote address on all three days.
