NEW BODY OF STUDENTS’ WELFARE COMMITTEE (SWC), CIBS FORMED
An election was held among the students of the inter-houses of the institute on 3rd March, 2020 to elect new executive members of the Students’ Welfare Committee (SWC), CIBS, Leh. Stanzin Targyas, student of Shastri-lll has been nominated as president of the SWC by the elected members of all three houses for the academic session 2020-21. As per the institute’s norms, the newly elected president has nominated the following as executive members/members of the SWC.

Stanzin Angbo – Medical In-charge
Nawang Gyaltson – Culture Committee
Skarma Chuskit – Culture Committee
Konchok Namgyal – Culture Committee

Tsewang Spalbar – Sport In-charge
Dean, Student Welfare Committee Geshe Dakpa Kalsang and concerned teachers were also present during the election. On behalf of the academic and non-academic staff of CIBS, Leh, the Director Professor Konchok Wangdu extends heartiest congratulation to the newly elected members of SWC and wish for successes in the field of education as well as in co-curricular activities to be undertaken by the SWC, CIBS Leh.
